▋LIFE IS A JOURNEY. Life is a journey from the cradle to the grave, splendidly encapsulated in the solar system as humanity's passengers on Planet Earth; so, no wonder they refer to us as ‘the human race’. Be that as it may, this ‘race’ en route to Eternity is not an ordinary race; on the contrary … it is fast, furious, frightening and brutal. For instance:
▶ The Velocity of Earth. According to scientists, Planet Earth is travelling at the ‘velocity’ (rate and direction of movement) of 107 000 kph (67 000 mph.) in its orbit around the Sun, disregarding for now the spin of the Earth on its own axis at 1670 kph (1037 mph) on average at the equator. Remarkably, the Creator (Jesus Christ) has created it [Hebrews1:1-4MKJV] so safe and secure that we’re not even wearing seatbelts.
▶ The Velocity of the Solar System. The velocity of the Solar System inside the Milky Way Galaxy is 720 000 kph (448 000 kph). [Space.com]. The plot thickens.
▶ Velocity of the Milky Way Galaxy. The velocity of the Milky Way Galaxy is about 600 kilometres per second ‘with respect to extragalactic frames of reference’ [Wikipedia] in the direction of the Great Attractor also referred to as the Laniakea Supercluster, i.e., at about
2 160 000 kph (1 342 159 mph).
▶ The Apostle John. Not to be confused with John the Baptist, John (‘the beloved apostle’) wrote as follows:
▶ The Disciple Mark.
The Great Attractor is described as a concentration of mass millions of times more massive than the Milky Way Galaxy and cannot be observed as it is being obscured by the Zone of Avoidance [Wikipedia].
▶ The Cosmos. The word ‘Cosmos’, in the context of Astronomy, is defined as ‘The universe seen as a well-ordered whole’, which is not surprising, as this is exactly what the Bible teaches. In contrast to secular and ‘Evolutionary Science’, many Evangelical Christians will probably interpret history in practical eras as follows:
◆ Natural History: Before and After the Biblical Flood of Noah.
◆ Cultural History: Before and After Jesus Christ (BC & AD, and not BCE & CE, the use of which is considered a disingenuous 'copout' by non-committed Christians and non-Christians).

▋NATURAL & CULTURAL HISTORY: ARE WE NEARING OUR JOURNEY’S END?
▶ The Apostle Peter. He wrote about a scale of 'climate change' and 'global warming' unprecedented in human history, as follows:
▶ The Apostle Peter. He wrote about a scale of 'climate change' and 'global warming' unprecedented in human history, as follows:
“First, knowing this, that there will come in the last days scoffers walking according to their own lusts and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation. or this is hidden from them by their willing it, that the heavens were of old, and the earth out of the water, and through water, being held together by the Word of God, through which the world that then was, being flooded by water, perished.
But the present heavens and the earth being kept in store by the same Word, are being kept for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men … But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up … looking for and rushing the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat? But according to His promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”
[2Peter 3:3-7, 10, 12,13MKJV].
▶ The Apostle John. Not to be confused with John the Baptist, John (‘the beloved apostle’) wrote as follows:
”And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places …. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And the sea no longer is. And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.”
[Revelation6:14; 21:1-2KJV].
▶ The Disciple Mark.
”And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake, whom He has chosen, He has shortened the days.”
[Mark13:20MKJV].
▋JESUS CHRIST. Jesus Christ, who never lied, has prophesied in no uncertain terms:
“But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark. And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man."
[Matthew24:37-39MKJV].
This prophesy dispels the secular myth (!) that the existence of Noah, the Ark and the Biblical Flood of Noah should be considered as nothing more than ‘obsolete Jewish mythology’.
