█ A PERSONAL STORY. We lost our first child in 1978 due to the ignorance of us (the parents) and the negligence of a medical practitioner; so, instead of ending up in our home in blue swaddling clothes and a baby-cot, our first (a boy) ended up in the hospital's incinerator.
Also was I (reportedly) the product of the proverbial ‘shotgun-wedding’, as I was conceived about two months before my parents got married and my mother has had to go to the magistrate for the official ceremony dressed in a blue (not white) wedding dress.
So embarrassed by the folly of the young couples’ moral indiscretion, my father, whether inadvertently or on purpose, had the wedding photographs either go missing through neglect or destroyed when he was supposed to have gone to pick it up and for which my mother berated him all of his life as she thereafter never had any wedding photographs to show to the rest of the family.
For all practical purposes my parents’ unconventional marriage was thus supposed to have been ruined for life, yet afterwards another six children were born to it of which only one, the second, did not make it; he died (about 1949) four days after birth and was buried in the Westpark Cemetery in Braamfontein (Johannesburg) after my mother had chased the hospital authorities out of the room for having the audacity to ask her for the baby's organs for 'research' ... to them he was just another 'casualty'.
I was born in 1947, so in terms of today’s libertine values and ideas my mother has had every ‘right’ to have me aborted at the time, for in those days that kind of social blunder could bring some considerable shame to the average, respectable family. Instead she has chosen not to follow that route. Consider the fallout of her decision:
▶ My son is a formally qualified industrial engineer working as a projects manager for a well-known multinational mining company; he is also an accomplished drummer and guitarist playing in a church-band and, together with his wife, a professional musician, operate a robust music school (incorporating training in Christian music) in the capital city of South Africa.
▶ My daughter is an accomplished missionary (Evangelical Christianity) in Europe, speaks three (soon it will be four) languages fluently, has worked for years in Marseille (France) as a fulltime missionary and has also worked as an executive pastor in her congregation in Belgium. She has since taken a ‘Sabbatical’ and is currently furthering her studies at a University in Belgium while holding down a fultime job.
So, what would have happened had my mother decided to have me aborted … wouldn’t it have resulted in a considerable loss for the Kingdom of God? How many brilliant artists, writers, academics, scientists, economists, theologians, evangelists and missionaries are not potentially lost with the millions of expediency abortions performed in abortion mills worldwide annually?

█ WITH 'CHILD' … NOT WITH ‘FETUS’. The Bible never refers to ‘fetus’ but always to ‘child’ when discussing pregnancies from the Biblical era, irrespective of the stage of pregnancy. Examples:
▶ “And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Behold, you are with child, and shall bear a son. And you shall call his name Ishmael, because Jehovah has heard your affliction.” [Genesis16:11MKJV].

█ WHAT GOD HATES. It is entirely possible, hypothetically speaking, that the genius that would have had a safe and effective vaccine ready in time for Covid19’s Coronavirus were killed in an abortion clinic in the 1980s. So, how many such geniuses are being killed today? But, genius or no genius, bear in mind that Jesus Christ anyway loved to protect the vulnerable, poor, sick, elderly and homeless, not necessarily the ‘fittest’ of the Darwinists only. Here's the deal:
Every time you abort a ‘fetus’ you kill a child on purpose!
The Bible teaches that, “Jehovah hates … a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plots wicked plans, feet hurrying to run to evil.”
